Whether you are a sponsor / event marketer or a festival / sponsee (a.k.a. “property”), there are plenty of resources available on their website and beyond. Some are free, such as industry news and trend reports, job boards, and forums; other offerings (webinars, directories, services, annual conference) have a fee attached and are worth looking into.
Pollstar is the concert industry’s go-to guide and a great place to keep track of acts (of all genres and levels of success) that are touring, and where and when to find them.
Seth Godin is considered an authority on all aspects of marketing, and offers free advice and food for thought on his blog which is usually updated at least once a day.
